INFO
Emory Entrepreneurship & Venture Management is a platform, resource, network, and community at Emory University dedicated to creating opportunities for students to learn about and experience entrepreneurship.
We provide students with resources in hopes of lowering the barrier to building something great. Through our annual hackathon and smaller initiatives throughout the semester, students get a taste of what it's like to build things.
INITIATIVES
Our initiatives vary from semester to semester, but every November we host the largest business hackathon in the Southeast called HackATL.
This event attracts hundreds of students from dozens of universities across the country.
Throughout the semester, we run smaller events such as the Ignite Speaker Series and Emory Excellerator.
ALUMNI
Our alumni have gone on to do great things. Most recently, Ishaan & Denver co-founded Interweave Brands and Nihar & Cam co-founded Axle ($4.0M seed led by Gradient Ventures).
RECRUITMENT
We recruit twice per year, once in the Fall and once in the Spring. We typically accept 8-12 new board members each recruiting cycle.
Our goal is to create a fair and equitable recruiting process. To that extent, we open source our entire recruiting process in our information sessions.
SPONSORSHIP
Ambitious organizations such as Stripe, Amazon, GitHub, Microsoft, Meta and Google have sponsored our work. Please reach out to contact@eevm.org for more information.
